Choppy and messy morning
Hello Friends,
Partly cloudy skies and white horses to the horizon as Thursday got started along the beaches. The wind was SE 14-23 kts at 0730. It’s been blowing that direction since midnight and the Bureau tells us this will be the pattern for the next three days. Swell was predominantly south and 2.4 metres at a shade under 9 seconds. That period’s not going to be enough to wrap into the most protected spots, so if you really have to get in, the semi-exposed corners like Dee Why will be your best hope for something catchable.
Thursday is usually when the Goat rolls out his latest thoughts on our prospects for the next 7 days. As always, I’m keen to see what he thinks – particularly when the GFS and ECMWF swell models are as dour as they were this morning. Will he see a glimmer of hope? Check back later and let’s see.
Have yourself a top old Thursday!
