Paula Abdul’s ‘drastic’ new look may have cost $220k, says expert – her face is ‘pulled’ & ‘everything is symmetrical’
PAULA Abdul’s face has sparked plastic surgery rumors over the years, with many fans wondering how the 60-something pop icon continues to look so young.
According to an aesthetician, Paula has reached her “peak” in terms of cosmetic procedures, including one that works on her “heavy jawline” and is used by another TV star.
Paula, 62, shared a photo on Instagram on Sunday showing her standing beside her tour bus door.
The singer looked young with smooth, flawless skin, high cheekbones, and a tight jawline.
“Face of an angel. You are Perfect,” commented one follower.
“You don’t look like you’ve aged a day,” said another.
Some fans even mistook the Emmy Award winner for actress Jessica Alba, 43.
She has created a gradual symmetry on both sides of her face.

From looking at photos of the star, luxury injector Tara Adashev of Neinstein Plastic Surgery agreed.
She claimed Paula’s perfect “heart-shaped” face looked “over ten years younger.”
Paula has been sharing photos online since joining New Kids on the Block for their Magic Summer Tour in June. The tour runs until August.
“Over the years, Paula appears to have gradually created a perfect symmetry in her face,” Adashev told The U.S. Sun.
“I believe her cheekbones are popping from filler, and now her features are at their peak.
“Paula looks to have had two rhinoplasties and an endobrow lift.
“She has likely been using Botox to lift her masseter muscles across her jaw.
“Paula has likely spent up to $220,000 on her face.
“By 2021, her new look was dramatic.
“By 2023, Paula looked much younger, and now she looks at least ten years younger for the tour.”
The former LA Lakers cheerleader became famous as a pop star in 1998.
Paula released a string of hits like Straight Up and Opposites Attract.
The biggest change is how Paula now holds weight in her face.

Over time, Paula scooped two Grammys and sold over 60 million records.
The twice-divorced singer went on to work on American Idol as a founding judge in 2002.
Years after leaving the program in 2009, Paula filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Nigel Lithgoe, 19 Entertainment, and FremantleMedia North America.
Paula’s facial features have changed through plenty of career highs and lows.
HOLD IT IN
Adashev, who has not treated Paula, noted her jawline had been transformed.
The luxury injector described work to her masseter muscles. She detailed how Paula had probably “lifted” her jawline using Botox.
“The biggest change is how Paula now holds weight in her face,” she said.
“While she has lost weight over the years, her jawline was heavy before.
“Now it looks more snatched and chiseled.
“She possibly started to use Botox on her lower face to carve it out.
“This jawline change seems to be from having very large masseter muscles.
“These muscles do not allow her jaw or jawline bone and structure to be prominent.
“I would assume Paula got some Botox in that lower face to help make the jawline more pronounced and heart-shaped.”
Adashev compared the star to podcaster Bethenny Frankel.
The former Real Housewives of New York star revealed that she turned to Botox injections for her jaw.
“I do look different. I’ve had Botox in my jaw. You can see that my jaw has completely changed,” she told Daily Mail in 2016.
At the time, Bethenny claimed she used Botox there because of teeth grinding.
Masseter Botox, or jaw Botox, treats conditions caused by tight masseter muscles.

“Bethenny Frankel’s transformation also involved injecting Botox into that muscle over time consecutively,” Adashev explained.
“This is whether it would be every three or two months.
“But the muscle strength can change the shape of the jawline and the shape of the face.

“The more that masseter muscle goes into use, the heavier it looks.
“This muscle can be heavier from clenching, grinding, chewing too much gum.
“Paula was likely starting to use Botox on her lower face to even it out.
“It can take a month to work, but it will all return pretty quickly if she stops the Botox.”
Throughout her 40-year career, Paula has confessed to turning to one or two cosmetic treatments.
“What I loved about it, it’s minimally invasive, no visible scars. Downtime? I was out walking around two or three days later,” she said of a new skin-tightening brand InMode.
Paula had begun promoting InMode in 2019.
After the slimmer nose and more pronounced jaw, her face changed.

“So I wanted a little sleeker jawline and … look,” she said on The Wendy Williams Show.
In 2021, the Masked Singer judge admitted to breast revision surgery to deal with implants that were too big.
Paula admitted she had had them put in over 20 years ago as a dancer.
HIDE BENEATH
Adashev also attributed Paula’s changed looks to weight loss, two possible rhinoplasties, and an eyebrow lift.
She claimed her endobrow lift was “drastic.”
“Paula also looks very different, likely because she fluctuates with weight,” she said.
“Her nose looks slimmer in the most recent photos than in 1994.
“She appears to have had two rhinoplasty.
“After the slimmer nose and more pronounced jaw, her face changed.

“The cheek area looks slimmer overall, but she looks to have also had some mid-face filler.
“Paula probably then had an endobrow lift.
“The distance between her eyebrows and her eyelids is now pretty drastic.
“Endobrow surgery involves going through the scalp and pulling up the face.
“Surgeons hide the scar in the hairline, which, in the end, makes the eyelids look slightly more awake.
“It also looks like her top lip looks bigger from filler.
“Paula has been taking better care of her skin.”
“Overall, Paula has created perfect cheeks, nose, and lips,” Adashev added.
“Everything is symmetrical and nicely in proportion.
“Paula has created a gradual symmetry between both sides of her face.
“This has been done surgically and non -surgically.
“To keep up that symmetry in her face, she would now have to carry on with her routine masseter Botox and the filler.”
