I’m a mum & sick of parents sponging off the government – if your kid is going to school in a nappy you should be shamed
WITH the general election just two days away many parents will be weighing up their options when it comes to their vote.
While many will be weighing up the benefits of childcare or child benefits, for controversial mum-of-four, Carla Bellucci, 42, there’s only one thing that will sway her vote.
She will be looking to the party who cracks down on the ‘nanny state’ and the lazy mums and dads who rely on the NHS, teachers and nursery workers to parent their kids.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Carla says: “We don’t need millions being spent showing parents how to parent.
“We need parents to be locked up or fined if they are so lazy they don’t teach their kids basic hygiene.”
Carla is referring to Labour’s promise to “fight for the nanny state” to protect Britain’s children, under a raft of reforms.
Children will be jabbed at home in a bid to boost vaccination rates under plans involving thousands more health visitors being trained and given expanded roles.
Keir Starmer Labours Child Health Action Plan, which will also promise breakfast clubs for every primary school, supervised toothbrushing – something Carla is outraged by.
“I’m a mum and I am sick of the UK’s nanny state, it’s up to us to look after our kids not the government,” she says.
“If a teacher cleans my girl’s teeth there’ll be hell to pay.
“Labour wants to spend millions teaching parents how to parent, it’s 2024 not 1854.
“Mums who send their kids to school in nappies and expect the teacher to potty train them and who need to be taught to make their kids brush their teeth should not be allowed to have children.
“These parents are mingers and they should be ashamed.
“Parents constantly blame the school or the NHS for their kids’ lack of hygiene but there’s no one to blame but the parents and Labour shouldn’t mollycoddle them.”
Influencer and former glamour model Carla, lives in Hitchens, Herts with her husband Gio, 54 a retired photographer and is mum to Jermaine, 21, a student, Tanisha, 19, Jaydn,17, and two-year-old Blu.
Carla is adamant that just because she got a free NHS nose job after faking depression, doesn’t mean she will keep her own mouth shut when it comes to parents ripping off the system.
“I got a free NHS nose job,” she says.
“But it doesn’t mean parents should let their kids’ teeth rot so they can get them taken out for free.
“It also doesn’t mean it’s ok for politicians to spend millions of pounds on basic parenting education programs and expecting teachers to show kids how to use the toilet or what foods to eat. That’s insanity.”
Last week, Labour announced plans to create 100,000 extra dental appointments for children, in a bid to clear backlogs in England.
The new appointments will be for urgent and emergency care and on evenings and weekends if the party wins the general election.

Access to an NHS dentist has become increasingly difficult in many areas – with tooth decay the most common reason children aged five to nine are admitted to hospital.
The Conservatives have their own “dental recovery plan”, offering dentists cash incentives to take on extra NHS patients as part of their election manifesto.
Meanwhile, a National Foundation for Educational Research report found that around five per cent of children aged between five and seven had worn a nappy to school.
Carla argues that harsher sanctions need to be given to parents whose children can’t brush their teeth or struggle to use the toilet.
“They should be put in prison rather than having money thrown at the problem,” she says.
'An army of mums could swing the vote'
A SECRET army of school-gate mums could swing the election for whichever party wakes up to the damage smartphones are inflicting on kids, actress Sophie Winkleman declared last month.
The Peep Show star said the hot-button issue was being sidelined by both Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer despite it being a proper “vote-winner”.
Speaking on Never Mind The Ballots, the campaigner said: “I think they’re quite ignored and they’re much more powerful than politicians’ realise and they’re going to have a big old say in this. It could be a big vote winner.”
A recent poll found 77 per cent of primary school parents want ministers to introduce a flat-out ban for under-16s on smartphones.
Winkleman also warned the Online Safety Act did not go nearly far enough on clamping down on social media companies.
The law compels tech giants to flush out harmful posts on their sites with the threat of multi-billion fines.
“The nanny state isn’t a solution, it’s only adding fuel to the fire.
“Stinky Karens who don’t make their kids brush twice a day are abusive.”
According to Carla all her children were taught from the age of two to clean their teeth and were visiting the dentist regularly.
“Blu is just two and she loves going to the dentist,” she says.
“Dentists have to provide free dental care to children. I have never had any problem getting my kids appointments.
“If a teacher tried to show Blu how to clean her teeth at school I’d complain to the head teacher. That’s money that could go on computers and textbooks.”
In 2016 Carla forked out £2000 to have dental veneers on her own teeth in Borehamwood.
“In 2020 I had another £8000 worth of dental work upgrading my veneers to ensure I had the perfect smile. I paid for that because teeth are important.
“People judge you if you have bad teeth.
“Kids can be cruel so if your child doesn’t have good teeth because of parental laziness it’s your fault they are getting bullied,” she says.
“Millions of taxpayers’ pounds is going into ‘educating parents’ and the nanny state has turned parents into big babies.
“Troll me all you want but these parents are scamming the system and it has to stop.”
