The NBA Draft has been completed, and we discuss where Jared McCain and Kyle Filipowski will begin their NBA careers on Episode 636!
The NBA Draft was a 2-day affair this year, and we had to go through both days to learn where McCain and Flip ended up. Jared McCain was drafted 16th by the Philadelphia 76ers, and Jason and Donald are really happy about what could be a great situation for him in the Association. Jared could fit in not just with his shooting and rebounding ability, but with his personality and work ethic.
We also discuss Kyle Filipowski, both on the court and off the court. He slips to the second round, eventually being drafted by the Utah Jazz with the 32nd pick. We discuss what happened pre-draft that could have caused him to slip out of the first round and be left in the green room after night 1. We also get into the stories that have come up about his current relationship and what we have heard about how it affected not just his draft stock, but his world.
After the break, there were some Duke Blue Devils that will have new places to play in the NBA due to trades during the draft. We discuss where Wendell Moore and AJ Griffin will call home now with their trades to the Detroit Pistons and the Houston Rockets, respectfully.
