Cooper Flagg Named To USA Select Team
What an honor for a 17-year-old!
Cooper Flagg’s ascent continues: Duke’s star freshman his the only college player, and the only college player to be for that matter, to be named to the USA Select Team since Doug McDermott and Marcus Smart were so named in 2013.
He’ll be competing with young players like Brandon Miller, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jaime Jaquez, who toil for the Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat respectively, along with older guys like Jalen Duren of the Detroit Pistons, Jalen Suggs of the Orlando Magic and Payton Pritchard of the Boston Celtics.
Pay attention to the stories that come out of camp. They could be extremely interesting.
