Man charged with ‘voyeurism’ at Taylor Swift Edinburgh show as cops make ONE arrest out of 200,000 people all weekend
A MAN has been charged with alleged voyeurism on the second night of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Edinburgh.
Around 220,000 Swifties descended on the national rugby stadium over the weekend for the hitmaker’s hotly anticipated shows.
Fans of the singer-songwriter travelled from near and far to see their idol, including from Australia and the US.
The gig-goers braved the fresh weather kitted out with foil blankets, ponchos and sleeping bags.
Cops confirmed there was just one arrest over the weekend, during Saturday’s show.
Superintendent David Happs said: “A 64-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with voyeurism within Murrayfield during the event on Saturday, 8 June.
“He was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.”
In a separate incident, we told how a man’s body was found near Murrayfield as a suspect was charged in connection with the death.
Cops were called to a property on Westfield Road, which is around 300 metres from Murrayfield Stadium, at around 12:55pm on Friday.
Officers urged motorists and revellers in the area to use other routes while they responded to the incident.
A 43-year-old suspect has been charged in connection with the death and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.

Taylor and her team tucked into thousands of pounds worth of Greggs grub, including hundreds of sausage rolls, steak bakes and sweet treats, after the bakery brand was asked to cater backstage, stadium insiders revealed.
Taylor on Thursday starts a three-night run at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool.
The European leg of her epic Eras Tour then continues, including eight huge gigs at Wembley in London.
