Xzavion Curry had his best outing of the season by a landslide, but he didn’t get help from his bullpen. Curry allowed two runs on three hits in seven inning while striking out three and walking three.
Wes Parsons pitched a scoreless eighth inning, but Anthony Gose allowed two runs in 2⁄3 of an inning to allow Indianapolis to walk it off in the ninth.
Jhonkensy Noel remains scorching hot, going 3-for-5 with a double, raising his season OPS over .900 to .909.

Jose Tena doubled, Juan Brito went 1-for-4 with a walk and both Angel Martinez and Johnathan Rodriguez walked twice. Martinez also stole a base.
Catcher Dom Nunez was perfect at the dish, going 2-for-2 with two walks.
Akron RubberDucks 7, Portland Sea Dogs 5

Akron spread out its offense, scoring exactly one run in seven of the nine innings on Saturday. The RubberDucks were victorious despite only having 10 baserunners on the day compared to 17 for Portland.
The difference in the game may have been baserunning as Akron stole a whopping seven bases and also hit three sacrifice flies.
Joe Lampe went 2-for-5 with a triple and two stolen bases. Milan Tolentino went 1-for-3 with a walk and two more stolen bases. Petey Halpin went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base while Dayan Frias went 1-for-2 with a hit by pitch, a stolen base and sac fly. Kody Huff went 1-for-2 with a sac fly and stolen base.
Kahlil Watson finished off the offense with a home run and a walk.

Starting pitcher Doug Nikhazy had his roughest outing of the season, allowing a horde of baserunners with six hits and five walks, which accounted for four runs in 4 1⁄3 innings. He also struck out five.
Bradley Hanner was terrific out of the bullpen with 2 2⁄3 scoreless innings to earn the win, lowering his season ERA to 1.08 in the process. Davis Sharpe finished off the game with 1 1⁄3 scoreless innings to earn his first save of the season.
Lake County Captains 5, Beloit Sky Carp 3

Lake County made the most of its opportunities, scoring five runs despite just five hits on Saturday.
Jake Fox led the way, blasting his third home run of the year and also walking.
Guy Lipscomb had a double and two runs batted in while Jose Devers and Angel Zarate both singled and walked.
Starting pitcher Carter Spivey allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits in 5 2⁄3 innings with four strikeouts and two walks.
The bullpen was tremendous as Adam Tulloch, Steve Hajjar and Magnus Ellerts combined for 3 1⁄3 scoreless innings with a whopping seven strikeouts, Ellerts in particular was impressive, striking out the side.
Lynchburg Hillcats 8, Shorebirds 12

The bottom of Lynchburg’s lineup id all the legwork as Nos. 1-4 managed just one hit.
Wuilfredo Antunez went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk. Pastrano also went 2-for-4 with a walk.
Juan Benjamin was tremendous, going 4-for-5 with a triple while Fran Alduey was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two walks.

Robert Lopez had just one hit, but it was a big one, a two-run home run in the second inning.
It was a rough day for Lynchburg pitchers. Yorman Gomez allowed seven runs (six earned) on five hits with three walks and a pair of strikeouts in 4 1⁄3 innings. Reny Artiles offered no relief out of the bullpen, giving up a whopping five runs on three hits with three strikeouts and a pair of walks in just 1 2⁄3 innings.
The lone pitching bright spot was Matt Jachec, who struck out four in two scoreless innings.
ACL Guardians 2, ACL Brewers 5

Julio Zapata opened the game with a scoreless inning pitched, but that was the lone bright spot for the ACL Guardians pitching. Austin Aldeano followed with two runs allowed on four hits and three walks in four innings and Ramon Rivera gave up three more runs on four walks and four hits in two innings pitched.
Jose Pirela had the lone multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a double. Yaikel Mijares went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases. David Leon walked twice.
DSL CLE Goryl 6, DSL CLE Mendoza 3

It was Cleveland on Cleveland violence Saturday in the Dominican Republic.
For Goryl, Yeiferth Castillo was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three doubles and a walk. Santiago Ustariz went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk and a stolen base. Romer Tavares went 1-for-3 with two walks and two stolen bases and both Dauri Fernandez and Estival Morillo went 2-for-5. Morillo’s hits were a double and a triple.
Starting pitcher Joelvis Perez allowed two runs on five hits with a walk in 4 2⁄3 innings with two strikeouts. Uribe was terrific out of the bullpen with four strikeouts in 3 1⁄3 scoreless innings.
The Mendoza squad had solid performances from Jukeiker Cacares, who went 2-for-4 with a double. Robert Arias also had a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a triple. Juan Frances tripled and had two outfield assists.
