DGA Awards 2024 winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users
Congratulations to our User gabspss for a tremendous score of 85.71% when predicting the 2024 DGA Awards winners on Saturday night. Our top scorer is actually tied with 54 other people at that percentage but has a better point score of 60,704 by using the two Super Bets (500 points each) wisely.
Over 2,000 people worldwide predicted these Directors Guild of America movie and TV champs with our top scorer getting six of seven categories correct. The ceremony was hosted by Judd Apatow in Beverly Hills. Our top User got the biggest two film categories right (“Oppenheimer” and “Past Lives”) and only missed for limited series (won by “Lessons in Chemistry.”)

Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.
For our 11 Gold Derby Editors predicting,we have a four-way tie at 71.43% for Charles Bright, Marcus Dixon, Rob Licuria and Matt Noble. Next at 57.14% are Denton Davidson, Daniel Montgomery, Ray Richmond, Christopher Rosen and Paul Sheehan. I am tied with Joyce Eng at 42.86%. See Editors’ scores.
