How to Watch Heisman Trophy Ceremony: time, TV channel, live stream
The 2023 Heisman Trophy race will come to an end on Saturday night, and a new name will be called upon to receive college football’s greatest honor. The recipient of the Heisman Trophy is etched into the sport’s history and will be remembered long after their playing days are over. This year’s finalists include three quarterbacks and a wide receiver. Oddly enough, all three quarterbacks up for the award are seniors who transferred to their current universities after the 2021 season.

Jayden Daniels – QB – LSU
Jayden Daniels is the favorite to take home college football’s most prestigious award. Ran and operated by Daniels, LSU was an offensive juggernaut in 2023. The Tigers led all FBS teams in scoring with 46.4 points per game. Daniels accounted for 50 touchdowns, 40 through the air and ten on the ground. He passed for over 3,800 yards while rushing for another 1,134. He did all this while only throwing four interceptions. The former Sun Devil is the only player ever to pass for 12,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards during their college career.
Michael Penix Jr. – QB – Washington
If Michael Penix Jr. wins this award, no one should complain. Of all the Heisman hopefuls, his team was the best. Penix led the nation in passing yards and threw 33 touchdown passes. He won the Maxwell Award presented to the best player in college football over Daniels. He is the only player on this list that will be playing in the College Football Playoff and led the Huskies to their first 13-win season in school history.
Bo Nix – QB – Oregon
Bo Nix was phenomenal this season for the Ducks. He threw for 40 touchdowns with only three interceptions. Nix was second in the nation with 4,145 passing yards, trailing only Penix Jr. The Oregon signal caller also has some rushing abilities, displayed as a by-product of six rushing touchdowns. With these numbers, Nix might be seen as the frontrunner for the Heisman in a different year, but his 228 rushing yards fall short compared to what Daniels did with his legs.
Watch the Heisman Trophy Ceremony on FuboMarvin Harrison Jr. – WR – Ohio State
Marvin Harrison Jr. is one of the best wide receiver talents we have seen in college football. The Ohio State junior amassed 1,211 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. His impact on the opposing team’s game plans is even more impressive than his stats. Harrison is the kind of player who will beat a defense over and over again if they do not key in on stopping him. There is a chance he will be the best player on this list at the next level, but he is a long shot for the award.
