FITNESS fanatics come in all shapes and sizes and one woman is proving just that.
The avid gym-goer shared her body-positive message with her followers.
In her video, Shelby (@shelbysaywhatblog) encouraged her fellow midsize women to embrace their appearances.
The TikToker uses her platform to promote inclusivity among gym-fluencers.
“Point of view: You’re scrolling and feel intimidated there are no realistic fitness accounts with a soft stomach like yours,” Shelby wrote.
However, she informed her viewers that this was about to change now that they discovered her account.
“Welcome to the side of TikTok where we embrace our squishy tummies but also kick serious a** at the gym,” she said.
Describing herself as “your midsize fitness bestie,” Shelby demonstrated some of her go-to exercises.
First, she lifted her workout tee to show her followers her soft stomach.
Shelby then launched into some of her favorite fitness moves, including lifting weights, leg presses, and squatting.
She also prioritized her cardio with a session on her gym’s treadmill.
Shelby explained that her goal is to “help you feel less intimidated at the gym regardless of your weight and size.”
“Squishy but strong fitness Who’s with me?” she wrote in the clip’s caption.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on Shelby’s message.
