Kate Lawler ‘upset and exhausted’ after daughter’s health scare, saying ‘I’ve never seen her so ill’
KATE Lawler has detailed her struggle as her daughter became very ill.
The presenter, 43, took to Instagram to share a series of snaps of her daughter Noa, who appeared to be very under the weather.
Kate, who is known for her stint on Big Brother, explained that she was ‘upset and exhausted’ after Noa’s illness.
In the first snap, Noa could be seen curled up and sleeping beside a dog – likely, feeling drowsy due to her sickness.
Kate detailed in a lengthy caption alongside the photos: :What I thought was initially just a cold and cough turned out to be a chest infection for Noa.
“It’s so upsetting / exhausting when they’re under the weather isn’t it?
“She’s usually such a happy, smiley little girl but seeing her so sad, weak, crying and coughing so much has been horrible. I know it’s to be expected at this time of year, but I’ve never seen her so ill.”
Despite the difficult time, Kate did sign off on a lighter note, stating: “Thankfully she’s on antibiotics and they’ve finally started to kick in so fingers crossed she’ll be better by the weekend.
“She even managed a smile in the doctor’s surgery on Tuesday morning.”
Followers flocked to the comments to share their well wishes with fellow TV star Gemma Atkinson gushing: “Me and Mia had this. Awful. Glad she’s on the mend.”
Another follower wrote: “Glad she’s feeling better awful seeing them poorly.”
A third exclaimed: “Poor little lady, hope she’s better soon. It’s awful, we’re just getting over it.”
A fourth added: “You poor loves! Sending loads of love my darlings xxx.”
It comes after Kate was cruelly mum-shamed by fans questioning an ‘inappropriate’ choice for her daughter.
The youngster was seen throwing her toys out of her cot, while asking her mum to pick them up, in Kate’s post to social media.
But fans of the star were’t impressed.
One wrote, “She’s possibly ready for an actual bed now,” while another agreed, “She needs to be in a normal bed ???”
Someone else added, “I feel like she possibly needs a bigger actual bed now? That’s what we’ve just done with our 2 year old and she sleeps so much better now.”
Unfortunately, Kate has previously been slammed for posting footage of her daughter having a tantrum.
