Body found in RV after it burns near Sun Valley
SUN VALLEY — Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters found a body inside an RV Monday night when they were called to a fire at the vehicle near Sun Valley.
Firefighters were responded at 9:05 p.m. to 11800 Strathern St., near Lankershim Boulevard, where they found the vehicle engulfed in flames. When they extinguished the fire, they found the body inside the vehicle, said LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman who was inside the RV ran away and was treated at the scene for burns and smoke inhalation by paramedics, Prange said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
