Man hospitalized with gunshot wound after Hartford shooting
A man was hospitalized after a shooting on Boothbay Street in Hartford on Monday afternoon, police said.
Patrol officers responded to Boothbay Street around 4:42 p.m. on a report of a person shot, according to the Hartford Police Department.
As officers were investigating the scene, an area hospital reported a gunshot victim arriving for treatment, police said. The victim, a man in his 30s, was suffering from a gunshot wound not considered life-threatening, according to police.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene and are conducting the ongoing investigation.
