Love Island fans convinced show legend has landed HUGE new ‘dream job’ on US TV after spotting ‘clue’
LOVE Island fans are convinced that show legend Kem Cetinay has landed a huge TV opportunity on US TV.
The reality star turned TV presenter, 27, last night shared a photo of arriving in Fiji.
Kem posted a picture of the palm trees at 1am and wrote: “Woke up thinking it’s a new day, jet lag has finished me.”
Meanwhile, a host of ex-Islanders have also jetted to the exotic island in recent weeks as they film for the spin-off series, Love Island Games.
It will see fan-favourite Islanders from all over the world compete for a second chance at love and to face brand new challenges.
Kem’s surprise trip has got fans talking – leading them to speculate that the star has bagged a role on the show as a host, similar to Love Island legend Maura Higgins, who became the social media host for latest series US Love Island.
One eagle-eyed fan wrote: “I think he probably has a role like Maura did with LI USA and will interview people who get dumped.”
Another said: “Elite level Islander.”
“He could be doing like presenting work like he has before,” a third commented.
Kem has continued to fuel speculation after posting a snap of him enjoying a hot beverage in front of a sea view.
There was a telling quote penned on the lid of the coffee cup, which read: “It’s never too late for a new beginning in your life.”
He then posted a tanned selfie from luxury resort Naisoso Island.
Kem found fame on the ITV2 dating show when he appeared back in 2017.
But his career skyrocketed when he launched his presenting career.
A few months after the show ended, Kem and fellow islander Chris Hughes starred in their own spin-off show, Chris & Kem: Straight Outta Love Island.
The Essex lad then became a contestant on the tenth series of Dancing On Ice, finishing fourth place.
He later returned to the show as their Digital Presenter which has become an ongoing role.
Kem also hosted the official podcast, Love Island: The Morning After alongside DJ Arielle Free and became a regular entertainment presenter on ITV’s This Morning.
It wouldn’t be the first ex-Islander to land a big job across the pond.
Irish babe Maura, 32, took over the social channels for the hit series, which airs on Peacock.
Maura also went on to make a name for herself as a TV presenter. She has hosted segments on This Morning and fronted the BBC’s show Glow Up Ireland.
Love Island fans are in for a treat as the new series kicks of later this year.
So far reality legends Megan Barton Hanson, 29, and Curtis Pritchard, 27, are set to take part on the international edition.
They will be joined by Eyal Booker, 28, and Wes Nelson, with both stars currently quarantining in the South Pacific ahead of filming.
