I love rummaging through other people’s bins – the best place to go is uni halls, I’ve found so much unopened food
THEY say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
And one dumpster diver lives by the phrase, as she loves rummaging through people’s bins in search of goodies.
Vero took to TikTok to show off all the goodies she nabbed while dumpster diving at uni halls.
As soon as she opened the bins, the money-saving woman found a brand new duck-egg blue toaster.
“Graduates… I want your trash,” she captioned the post.
Next, she was stunned to find an unopened bottle of Frosted hand wash from Bath and Body Works.
Digging into the trash, she also spotted a an unused candle, blue glittery skirt and a Red Sangria bottle of ingredients also sealed shut.
Vero found a gorgeous cream fur blanket but she decided to leave it in the bin rather than take it home.
She also found a big stash of rolled oats, a mug, a compact mirror, a new set of drawers, and some fancy smoothing shampoo from Odele.
The final thing she found was a mini fridge to store make-up.
The video posted to her account @veroventuring has gone viral with over 95k views and over 3,000 likes.
People were quick to share their thoughts on the dumpster diving haul.
One person wrote: “They just throw away!”
Another commented: “WOW.. I mean why do they throw that away… so nice.”
“I will never understand why people throw away perfectly usable stuff,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “college students throw everything away their parents paid for good finds always.”
“College dumpster is always fire,” claimed a fifth.
