THE Voice’s Anne-Marie looks unrecognisable after revealing a dramatic new hair makeover.
The stylish 32-year-old is known for her blonde locks, but she’s gone for something completely new.
Alarm singer Anne-Marie showed off a stunning new brunette look to her 9.1million Instagram followers.
Lying down on the grass, The Voice star and singing sensation snapped a selfie and revealed her long brown hair.
She partnered the look with a slogan t-shirt and a subtle makeup look.
Anne-Marie penned as the caption: “Welcome to the dark side,” followed by a dark haired emoji.
And fans were absolutely loving her transformation, as one wrote: “STOP IT YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL.”
Another said: “why the f*** do you look good in every hair colour,” and a third added: “Omg you did it!!! Love!!!”
Many of Anne-Marie’s fans said they’d found it difficult to recognise her after she shared her new look.
Anne-Marie’s transformation was hinted at by the star in a chat with The Sun recently.
Discussing her signature blonde locks and iconic style, she said: “From when I was young, I always wanted to wear different clothes to what everyone was wearing.
“My Dad took me to the charity shops, where obviously you find one off pieces that won’t be in other high street fashion shops, so I used to go to those shops all the time and try and get the weirdest thing I could get so I could look different.
“I don’t know why, I guess I was quite a shy teenager, quite anxious and weird. I think because I didn’t really speak much, go out much or have many friends, I think my style and my clothes were one thing that I could actually let speak instead of me.”
“I’m definitely leaning more towards just being comfortable, I’m done with the tight clothes – that might be because I’ve been eating lots of pizza lately! I love baggy clothes, baggy cargo pants, baggy T-Shirts. I’ve always been a fan of sliders, so that will never change.
“Hairstyle – definitely going to be changing that soon!”
Recently, The Sun revealed that the 2002 singer had completed her third album, which follows 2021’s Therapy, and has channelled the song I’d Do Anything from the hit musical Oliver! for one of the tracks.
Speaking previously about it, she said: “I feel like from the first and second album I’ve learnt a lot about myself, and now I know this is who I am.”
Since making her debut in 2015 alongside Rudimental, Anne-Marie has bagged seven Top Ten singles and two Top Three albums.
As well as dominating the charts, racking up nine million social media followers… and vying to get on Big Brother, Anne-Marie also recently collaborated with Specsavers.
The star’s collab with the famed glasses giant comes hot on the heels of her Brit Awards tumble in 2022, which, she said, has become “iconic” – and she’s not wrong.
“It turned into an iconic moment but at the actual time of it happening I nearly died of embarrassment, but we got through it. I sent a tweet saying I didn’t need my left ankle anyway and Specsavers replied, so I guess the relationship started there really,” Anne-Marie revealed.
