A STYLE whizz has listed the three main mistakes that instantly cheapen your appearance – and the nail length to steer clear of.
The list of what’s deemed to be tacky is never-ending and now, according to Gloria Polato, there are another three fashion fads to avoid at all costs.
The elegance guru, believed to be from Italy, insisted that it’s not always about fashion – and your nails play an important role in your appearance too.
For those wanting to elevate their style, the whizz advised to opt for a more natural manicure and keep the nails quite short.
However, it’s bad news if your preference is a longer set of acrylics with bright nail varnish – this in her eyes is simply ”bull****”.
Your eyelashes, too, are key – and the Italian pro strongly advised against thick false eyelash extensions.
These are a choice no elegant lady will ever make, as they prefer a more subtle and natural approach, the video showed.
Speaking of fashion – another important aspect – Gloria urged fellow chic style fanatics to choose more modest garments, although this doesn’t necessarily have to mean boring.
According to the expert, you can still wear a figure-hugging maxi dress with a high slit.
However, be careful to not go overboard with the cutouts, especially if the clothing is on the shorter side – this will instantly make you look cheap, the whizz noted.
But despite the recommendations, it seems that not everyone will be taking these tips on board.
