A MID-SIZE lady has tried Skims for the first time and was immediately obsessed with the results.
YouTuber Sophiology has gained over 500,000 subscribers for her trusted advice on hair, makeup, and style.
“Every piece I’m showing you – the quality’s amazing,” the newest Skims fan said at the beginning of the video.
“The hype is true.”
The style lover explained that she is a size 8 to 10 with a 31-inch waist, which puts her on the curvy side.
She prefaced by saying that she ordered a medium or large for most of Kim K’s sought-after products and that each item ran true to size.
First up, she showed off a blue ribbed cotton set that she said was “stretchy and breathable.”
“I love how the material gives a smoothing effect like it puts a filter on your body,” the amazed lady said.
For the next item, she secured the cotton ribbed plunge top in black with a matching pair of leggings.
She was obsessed with the product but realized that the material is very stretchy, meaning she could have sized down from a medium to a large.
“But even with them being oversized they looked really good,” she said.
And it wouldn’t be a Skims haul if Sophiology didn’t try out a bodysuit.
For this review, she mentioned that she wasn’t that interested in bodysuits until she met Kim’s.
The fabric “needs to be scientifically studied,” according to the obsessed fan who said it “cinched her waist.”
The next was an underwear set that she said was worn by the musician SZA.
“It looked amazing on her, and as you can see it looks incredible on me,” she said while showing off the beautiful chocolate brown set.
The YouTuber said that this was proof that Skims’ underwear is “undefeated,” and mentioned that bottoms are on sale for 3 for $36.
The fits everybody bra was another huge win for Sophiology, especially since she ordered the wrong size and still loved the fit.
Before reviewing the next product, the curvy lady explained that she absolutely hates shapewear, but makes an exception because she likes what it does to her body.
However, this product changed her mind.
She couldn’t say enough good things about the Skims sculpting high-waisted shorts and urged any apprehensive ladies to give it a try.
“Back is able to be out, front is completely flattened, sides are cinched in, and the hips are smoothened,” she said.
“I’m sold.”
