APPRENTICE viewers will instantly recognise the iconic Bridge Cafe as the place where glum candidates go to discuss their failed tasks.
The scene of many a heated debriefs, the grey looking greasy-spoon is forever associated with misery and failure.
Fans of The Apprentice may be surprised to hear that these gloomy scenes are actually filmed in two London cafes.
The first, and less used cafe, is La Cabana 2 in Willesden, North-West London.
The second, which is more commonly associated with those famous moments of dread, is Bridge Cafe, in West Acton, West London.
The full address is Bridge Cafe, Westfields Rd, London W3 0AP.
It’s owned by two chaps, Frank and Gerry, and is a far cry from the glitz and glamour of the City and Canary Wharf.
The simple spot comes complete with tiled walls and bars on the window.
Should you want to recreate the anxiety-filled moments before the losing team go back into the boardroom to face the music, you can.
The cafe IS actually real and has actually become a bit of a tourist attraction.
Previously the dining establishment of choice cabbies and builders, fans of the show now flock there in their droves to take selfies in “The Apprentice Cafe”.
The builder’s caff also has some dazzling reviews on TripAdvisor.
One person said: “This is a great cafe the best food and frank and Gerry are a great laugh highly recommended it looks a little old from the out side not Gerry the cafe it’s self but the foods good.”
While another added: “Came here for breakfast while staying in London, as a big fan of apprentice.
“Got a proper greasy full English fry up. One of the best I have ever had. service was great too.”
The Apprentice kicks off TONIGHT (January 6, 2022) at 9pm on BBC One.
The new series will broadcast weekly and will see former winner Tim Campbell join as one of Lord Sugar’s aides.
He will stand in for Claude Littner who won’t be taking part due to medical reasons.
