Britain’s Got Talent viewers in hysterics as ‘Liam Gallagher and Robbie Williams’ perform back to back
BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers were left chuckling tonight as rivals Liam Gallagher and Robbie Williams performed one after the other.
The ITV talent show saw comedian and Liam lookalike, Mike Newall, impress the judges with his deadpan act – and he was swiftly followed by father and son duo – Dave and Dean, with Dean bearing somewhat of a resemblance to Robbie, 46.
Fans of Britain’s Got Talent found the whole thing hilarious and took to Twitter to joke about it.
One person wrote: “Liam Gallagher and now Robbie Williams… #BGT,” while a second added: “@robbiewilliams on bgt just after Liam Gallagher … what’s the chances #bgt.”
A third viewer tweeted: “Britain’s got talents editors think they are funny… out oasis music in the background with the guy who looked like Liam Gallagher and then robbie Williams in the background with the guy who looked like robbie #BGT (sic).”
Others couldn’t believe how much the two hopefuls looked like the celebrities – who have enjoyed a public feud for the past 20 years.
“Liam Gallagher on #BritainsGotTalent that was biblical,” one viewer tweeted, while another said: “He sure looked like Robbie! #BGT.”
Even the judges, including Simon Cowell, commented on 39-year-old Mike’s similarities to the former Oasis frontman.
The hilarious coincidence on Britain’s Got Talent comes after Robbie reignited his feud with Liam again this week.
The Rock DJ hitmaker challenged Liam to a boxing match to raise money for charity, in particular the NHS.
Speaking about why he wants to come face-to-face with Liam, Robbie said: “I still want to fight. There’s a lot of things I want to experience. I saw KSI and Logan Paul fight and just thought, ‘That looks amazing’.
“I don’t dislike anybody enough to train for those ten weeks and give it my all apart from Liam. The offer still stands, I’m available, let’s do it for the NHS.”
In the YouTube chat with Chris Thrall, Robbie went on to call Liam an “archetypal schoolboy bully” and said he puts all his frustrations with other people onto the Rock ‘n’ Roll star.

“Anybody that’s ever bullied me at all, I forget about them and put it all on to one person and that’s Liam,” Robbie said. “And that’s why I want to fight him in the ring.”
Robbie and Liam’s feud goes way back, and started 20 years ago when the former Take That star publicly challenged Liam at the 2000 Brit Awards and offering a £100,000 bet.
