Tottenham interim Igor Tudor has now outlined the simple formula behind the swift impact he has made at clubs throughout his managerial career.
Igor Tudor’s record at clubs he has managed in the past will no doubt have played a role in Tottenham Hotspur’s decision to appoint him as interim boss.
During his time at Udinese, Tudor oversaw a swift turnaround, lifting them from the foot of the table and steering them clear of relegation within six matches.
At Juventus in March last year, he guided the side to five wins, three draws and just one defeat in his opening nine matches, helping to secure Champions League football.
Now, at Tottenham, a similar job is required, as they lurk perilously close to the relegation zone, with five points the difference between them and West Ham.

The new interim boss has now revealed how he manages to make an immediate impact at clubs he has moved to.
Speaking to football.london, Tudor played down the idea of any secret formula and instead pointed to his core principles and problem-solving approach.
In explaining his methods and why he believes adaptability is key from club to club, Tudor said: “I do not know. I do my job. Nothing special.
“I do the things I believe is important. Nothing more, nothing less. Each coach has his own style to achieve the results. I have my style which I believe is the best.
“It is never the same because there are always different characteristics, different clubs and different culture. Not even of the league but the club. Some clubs like this kind of football, some like this.
“You need to resolve the problems. Everywhere there are problems, if you go to the best clubs in the world you believe there are not problems there but there are problems there like in the third division.
“It is all about how you resolve the problems in a very quick time. Not easy but it is okay.”
Early signs show Igor Tudor understands Tottenham demands
So far, since moving to north London, the Croatian has shown that he understands the demands of Tottenham and their fans, and that has been reflected in his interviews.
Earlier in the week, Tudor revealed that he is looking to deploy an offensive but smart brand of football in north London – the sort of style Tottenham fans have been clamouring for and rarely saw under Thomas Frank.
He also revealed that he is willing to take the game to Arsenal on Sunday, showing that he understands the expectations in derby encounters, while reiterating that Tottenham are 100% not going to get relegated and that he is in north London to work.
