Gonzaga lands Grand Canyon transfer Tyon Grant-Foster

Grand Canyon transfer Tyon Grant-Foster is transferring to Gonzaga, per multiple reports. Grant-Foster is a 6-foot-7, 220-pound athletic forward originally from Kansas City and began his career at Kansas, before transferring to DePaul and later Grand Canyon.
In two seasons at Grand Canyon, Grant-Foster appeared in 60 games for the Antelopes, averaging 14.8 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game this past season. He recorded 23 points and four rebounds in Grand Canyon’s first round NCAA Tournament loss against Maryland. Grant-Foster’s best season of his collegiate career came in 2023-24, when he averaged 20.1 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game, leading the Antelopes to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Grant-Foster will have one year of eligibility remaining, due to optioning to redshirt his sophomore season at DePaul after appearing in just one game.
He joins a recruiting class that consists of Adam Miller (Arizona State), Jalen Warley (Virginia), Davis Fogle and Parker Jefferson.
