Active dog who loves to play is up for adoption
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - Meet Kingston! He is looking for his forever home at the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center.
Kingston is a 2-year-old mixed breed who is active and loves to play. Kingston is full of energy and part of the shelter's run club. He enjoys playing with a ball, even by himself. He is also smart and knows several tricks and commands, according to Brandy Trott, behavior coordinator.
"He seems to pick up things super quick, he's very treat motivated," Trott said. "I think he would be fine with kids. ... I think he is all-around a fun dog."
It's recommended that resident dogs meet with Kingston before moving forward with adoption. Shelter staff says he does get along with other dogs but can tend to be "pushy." Kingston would be best in an active home where he can run, go on hikes and play in a big yard.
If you are interested in meeting with Kingston, he is available for adoption or foster to adopt at the shelter, located at 4340 Tamarack Blvd.
