First night of the Delightful Run for Women Expo
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Thursday was the first night of the Delightful Run for Women Expo. Runners participating in the 5K picked up their bibs and t-shirts and checked out the various vendors.
This is the 47th year of the run that was previously known as the Freihofer's Run for Women. The expo continues on Friday at the Armory at Russell Sage College in Albany.
Thousands of runners will take off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 31 from Washington Avenue near the New York State Capitol.
Parking restrictions and road closures for various streets in downtown Albany and around Washington Park start Friday night.
