LPSS monitors heavy rain forecast, possibility for remote learning
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- In light of severe weather and the possibility of flooding this week, the Lafayette Parish School System is monitoring the forecast for possible school closures.
According to LPSS school will be in session on Tuesday, but all events planned for Tuesday evening are postponed and will be rescheduled.
As of now LPSS has not made a decision on school being in session Wednesday, but they have said for families to prepare for remote learning.
A final decision will be made after Tuesday morning’s forecast update and families will be notified no later than noon on Tuesday via J-Campus and LPSS social media.
