Columbus police investigating hit and run that hospitalized pedestrian
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Columbus police are investigating after a car on West Broad Street struck a pedestrian without stopping.
Police responded to a call shortly before 9:30 p.m. Friday night of a pedestrian struck. According to police, an unknown dark colored vehicle traveling eastbound on West Broad Street hit a pedestrian and continued driving.
Columbus police said the victim was crossing Broad outside of a marked crosswalk when they were struck. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but police said they are expected to survive.
