Tottenham scouts have been very impressed with Real Madrid academy graduate
Tottenham’s scouts have been keeping close tabs on a young Argentina international this season, with the North London club now considering making an offer for the player when the transfer window opens in June.
Nico Paz came through the Real Madrid academy and broke into the La Liga giants’ first team last season, but after making just four appearances for the club, he was sold to Como last summer.
The youngster has thrived under Cesc Fabregas at the Italian club this term, having scored six goals and provided five assists in 24 league appearances so far.
The youngster’s impressive displays in Serie A have reportedly attracted plenty of interest, with Spurs now said to be one of the clubs circling over the player.

TBR Football claim that Tottenham’s scouts have been aware of Paz’s talent since his time in Madrid’s youth teams and have kept track of his progress over the years.
They have allegedly kept a keen eye on his performances at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia this season and have been left extremely impressed by the 20-year-old’s development.
While the North London club really like the Argentina international, the report says that it is unclear at the moment if they will push ahead with an offer for the player in the summer, given the options that Ange Postecoglou already has in the middle of the park.
The publication adds that scouts from other clubs have also started to study Paz’s performances over recent weeks as the interest in his services continues to grow.
Paz wants Real Madrid return
The outlet explains that the versatile attacking midfielder’s top preference would be to return to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
However, with Los Blancos having a surplus of young midfielders, including the highly-rated Arder Guler, a move to the Spanish capital is not seen as a viable option for Pez at this stage.
The publication adds that Como are at very real risk of losing the Argentine after just one season, with a number of clubs across the continent becoming increasingly keen on the youngster.
