Columbus police seek community help after four shot, 20-year-old killed
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Columbus police have identified the man who was killed in a shooting that injured three others.
Columbus police responded to a home on the 400 block of Kimball Place on a report of a shooting shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday. There, they discovered four people suffering from gunshot wounds, including Marquise Williams Jr., who died from his injuries around 10:30 p.m.
Williams, 20, and the other victims were all transported to a nearby hospital. Police said the other three victims are in stable condition. Four nearby residents were also struck by gunfire, police said.
Columbus police believe the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between one of the surviving victims and another man, although the suspect has not been named or arrested.
Police are asking anyone with a camera in the area above to check for footage to assist the investigation, which is ongoing.
