Man stabbed on NYC subway train: police
WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A man was stabbed on a subway train in New York City Friday, police said.
The stabbing happened around 3 p.m. on a Manhattan-bound L train near the Graham Avenue subway station in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
A 58-year-old man got into an argument with another person on the train, police said. The suspect allegedly stabbed the 58-year-old in the back of his shoulder and then bit him on the top of the head, according to police.
The 58-year-old man was hospitalized after the incident, authorities said.
The suspect fled and hasn't been arrested, police said.
L trains are running with delays in both directions due to the police investigation, according to the MTA.
L train service has resumed between the Myrtle–Wyckoff avenues station and the Lorimer Street station, MTA officials said.
