Columbus library announces dates for annual book festival
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - A festival featuring books, authors from the Columbus-area and across the country and more is returning to central Ohio.
The 2025 Columbus Book Festival is returning July 12 and 13, according to a social media post from the Columbus Metropolitan Library. CML's annual event brings together readers for book signings, panel discussions, author talks, live entertainment, a Big Book Sale and more.
In the past, the two-day event has brought in thousands of attendees, bringing something for every book lover. The library mentioned in a social media post that the "exciting" headliners for this year's event will be announced in April, promising more than 200 authors.
The festival will be held at the Main Library at 96 S. Grant Ave. The library has its first festival in 2023 to commemorate its 150th birthday, according to the library's website. With the success of the festival which brought in 34,000 people, the library chose to bring it back in 2024.
