Water main break in Gloversville leads to boil water advisory
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A water main break in Gloversville on Thursday caused a boil water advisory to be issued until further notice, per the Gloversville Board of Water Commissioners. Homes south and west of South Main Street and West Fulton Street to Lexington Avenue are impacted by this advisory.
The Gloversville Board of Water Commissioners said water should be brought to a full rolling boil for one minute and then cooled before use while the boil water advisory is in effect. Anyone with questions or concerns can contact the Gloversville Water Works at (518) 773-4520.
