THE AQUA Dome Hotel in Austria looks like an alien spaceship has landed thanks to its outdoor pools and mountain views.
Located in Längenfeld in southern Austria, the Aqua Dome Hotel welcomes guests throughout the year.
The Aqua Dome Hotel opened back in 2004 and has been praised by visitors ever since.
Surrounded by mountain views, the Aqua Dome Hotel features a thermal bath, sauna and a fitness centre.
There are also three outdoor swimming pools in bowl-like structures, which are reminiscent of a UFO.
Other pools include a sports pool and a flow pool.
For days when it’s not so cold, there’s also an outdoor lounge area with deckchairs and a sauna garden.
Guests who want to stay active will be relieved to know that there’s also a fitness centre with a daily programme of activities.
For younger guests, there’s a free kid’s club for children aged three and over as well as a water fun park and a climbing frame.
Breakfast is buffet-style with an on-site restaurant serving themed meals, with fresh fruit served in the room.
There are several room options to choose from like double rooms and suites.
Each of the rooms is decorated in natural wood colours, warm tones, and mountain views.
Meanwhile, the suites come equipped with a fireplace and a living room space that’s separated from the sleeping areas by sliding doors.
The family rooms have separate sleeping areas for adults and children as well as two bathrooms.
The Aqua Dome Hotel has a 4.5-star rating from hundreds of reviews on TripAdvisor.
One person wrote: “A beautiful Hotel and spa with diverse thermal pools, saunas, gym and other facilities.
“The hotel also has a great private spa area with nice refreshing possibilities and lovely relaxing areas.”

The nearest airport to Längenfeld is Innsbruck, which is a 70-minute drive away.
