Deputies investigate drone sightings in Capital Region
SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Drone sightings have been reported to both the Saratoga County Sheriff's (SCSO) and Albany County Sheriff's (ACSO) offices. SCSO and State Police said they do not believe these sightings are dangerous.
Both agencies are investigating the sighting reports in coordination with state and federal partners. Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple asks those looking to report these sightings to do so with your local agency's non-emergency line.
If in Saratoga County, you can email sheriff@saratogacountyny.gov with the date, time, location, and any pictures or videos regarding the drone sightings. You can also email the State Police with the same information at crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
