Austin's 37th Street Lights return Dec. 13 through New Year's
AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin holiday tradition spanning four decades has returned once again.
Opening night for the light display on 37th Street begins at 6 p.m. Friday, and the tradition will continue until New Year's.
The neighborhood display, widely known in Austin for its untraditional holiday décor, is free to the public.
The display is located on 37th Street between Guadalupe and Home Lane; however, 37th Street is open to pedestrian traffic only.
Parking is available on side streets such as 34th Street and surrounding neighborhood streets. Avoid parking at nearby businesses, as organizers said your vehicle may be towed.
