Who is female ‘Celeb B’ who ‘watched Diddy & Jay-Z rape girl’? What we know about mystery star who’s ‘100% lawyering up’
THE identity of the female celebrity that allegedly watched Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs rape a 13-year-old girl currently remains unknown.
The pair allegedly assaulted the teen at an after party following the 2000 VMAs while the unidentified “Celebrity B” watched on.

But Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, was named as Celebrity A in the refiled lawsuit on Sunday in New York by an anonymous accuser who now claims he and Combs raped her as “Celebrity B” watched.
It remains unknown just who Celebrity B is, but criminal defense lawyer Julia Jayne told Fox News Digital that the woman is “100 per cent lawyering up and probably reviewing a demand letter”.
She explained that unknown Celebrity B would likely not come forward “as it would then drag that celebrity’s name through the mud”.
The lawyer added: “Likely, that celebrity’s name will come out, but no celebrity wants to be associated with this case, even as a witness.
“It would be negative publicity.”
Meanwhile criminal defense lawyer Lauren Johnson-Norris suggested the identity of Celebrity B could have already been determined.
She said: “Any celebrity witness has consulted with a lawyer by now about this case.
“We can only guess to the extent Celebrity B has been interviewed by the plaintiff or if Celebrity B is already cooperating with the Plaintiff’s team.”
Johnson-Norris said it is “to be seen” if the unknown female celebrity “will say she was there on her own free will or if she was a victim as well.”
Defense attorney Oleg Nekritin said that most attorneys “will advise the celebrity that they have to fight like hell, first quietly, and then if named, loudly”.
He explained that if the celebrity settles the case, it would be seen as “an implicit admission of misconduct”.
And, unless there “is credible evidence of misconduct, the celebrity will not look to settle this case.”
The attorney said that instead the celebrity would want to “fight” and “protect their name”.
He added: “There will be no chance of this celebrity cooperating with the plaintiff unless there is strong proof of the celebrity’s misconduct.”
The claims made by an unnamed Jane Doe form part of a federal lawsuit filed against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 55, in New York in October – refiled on Sunday to include Jay-Z.
It claims that Combs has “abused, molested, raped, assaulted, threatened and coerced women, minors and others” for decades.
And it describes his “close friend Shawn Carter [Jay-Z]” as being witness to “many” of his alleged crimes over the years.

It tells how on September 7, 2000, Jane Doe tried to gain entry to the VMAs in New York City without a ticket.
Approaching limo drivers outside of the event, one of them claimed to be working for Diddy and invited her to an afterparty.
He allegedly said she “fit what Diddy was looking for”.
She was later driven to a house where the party was being held, and was made to sign a form she now believes may have been a non-disclosure agreement.
During the party she reportedly saw “widespread drug use” including “marijuana and cocaine”.
A waitress later offered her a drink which tasted “bitter” and after ingesting some of it, Jane Doe felt “woozy and lightheaded, making her need to lie down”.
She claims she found an empty bedroom in the house with only a bed inside, where she went to lie down without locking the door.
Shortly after Diddy, Jay-Z and an unnamed female celeb referred to only as “Celebrity B” entered the room.
Jay-Z's full statement following rape allegations
“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” … What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.
No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!
These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?
These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.
This lawyer, who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these type of theatrics!
I have no idea how you have come to be such a deplorable human Mr. [X], but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over. I’m more than prepared to deal with your type. You claim to be a marine?! Marines are known for their valor, you have neither honor nor dignity.
My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people. I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit.
My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is dressed in costume for profitability by this ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.
You have made a terrible error in judgement thinking that all “celebrities” are the same. I’m not from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn. We don’t play these types of games. We have very strict codes and honor. We protect children, you seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable.
I look forward to showing you just how different I am.”
Diddy “aggressively approached Plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her, and said, ‘You are ready to party!'”, the suit claims.
He then supposedly threw her towards a wall, before grabbing her and chucking her onto the bed.
Jay-Z then allegedly removed her clothes, before holding her down and raping her.
Afterwards he allegedly stepped back, allowing Diddy to do the same thing.
Jay-Z hit out at the claims in an explosive denial, dubbing the suit “blackmail”.
He insisted that the “heinous” allegations were not true and said he was heartbroken for his family.
In a statement given to The Sun he said: “My only heartbreak is for my family.
“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”
The teen said she fought Diddy off after the second rape, ran out of the room and exited the house before dressing and fleeing on foot to a nearby gas station.
The female clerk allowed her to use the phone, which she called her dad on and asked him to come pick her up.
Some 20 years later she claims to still be suffering from a “deep depression” and “post-traumatic stress disorder and a seizure disorder caused by stress and trauma” following the alleged rapes.
The suit claims she “has had difficulty maintaining normal relationships and lives largely withdrawn from society”.
It also described the friendship between Diddy and Jay-Z as going beyond professional collaboration.
The filing reads: “His [Diddy’s] close friend Shawn Carter has been with Combs during many such instances described herein. Both perpetrators must face justice.
“Combs and Carter were not simply occasional collaborators in the music industry.
“The two men developed a close friendship that has been well-documented from the late 1990s to the present.”
The suit also claims that Combs liked to use “popular date-rape drug Rohypnol, or GHB, to commit heinous non-consensual acts of sexual violence and rape onto countless victims”.
Meanwhile unearthed pictures appear to show Jennifer Lopez in a blazing row with Sean “Diddy” Combs on the night he and Jay-Z allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl.
Shocking images show the moment the Bronx beauty and the disgraced rapper were locked in a heated argument before J Lo gave Combs a deathly stare and stormed away.
J Lo, 55, is pictured in the resurfaced photographs taken at the 2000 MTV VMAs afterparty with ex-boyfriend Diddy – the same night of the alleged assault.
In the images the former couple can be seen embroiled in a fiery argument as the singer scowled at Combs around dozens of party goers.
Visibly upset, she is seen standing by her sister Lynda and shouting at Diddy after their apparent argument.
It is unclear what caused the argument and there is nothing to suggest it was connected to the alleged rape.
Embattled rapper Diddy is currently being held in jail in New York ahead of a trial next May for racketeering and sex trafficking.
He has faced a slew of rape accusations and assault claims in recent months.
Diddy's downfall
By The U.S. Sun's Senior Reporter Forrest McFarland, who has been reporting on Diddy's legal battles for years
BEFORE Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest in September, it was highly speculated that the rap star would find himself in custody after he was repeatedly hit with disturbing accusations – and had two of his mansions raided by the feds.
His mounting legal troubles finally came to a head on September 17, when he was charged with three federal counts, including sex trafficking, for allegedly forcing victims to take part in drug-fueled sex parties he called “Freak Offs.”
Hours before his arrest, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the feds investigating Combs were secretly liaising with Tupac Shakur murder prosecutors on gangland activities.
The development also came after Combs was named 77 times in documents submitted by prosecutors in the Tupac murder case.
Aside from the Tupac probe, Combs was already facing a slew of lawsuits, including one he settled with his ex, Cassie Ventura, after she accused him of rape and abuse.
Disturbing hotel surveillance video from 2016 showed Combs chasing Cassie down and then punching, kicking, and beating her in a hallway.
Two months earlier, in March 2024, two of Combs’ mansions were raided by federal investigators, who seized three AR-15s, drugs, and 1,000 bottles of lube which were part of his “Freak Off” supplies.
In addition to his federal criminal charges, Combs also faces a handful of lawsuits with allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking dating back to the early 1990s.
Music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed one suit in February 2024, claiming Combs forced him to hire sex workers and participate in sex acts while he worked on his latest album.
Combs has denied any wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to the federal sex trafficking charges against him, but his battle is far from over.
He faces life in prison if he’s convicted on all counts.
