Chrissy Teigen Reveals Why 6-Year-Old Son Miles Is Noticeably Absent From Recent Family Photos
Chrissy Teigen just blessed our Instagram feeds with yet another beyond-adorable carousel of photos and videos of her kids. The cookbook author shares four kids — Luna, 8, Miles, 6, and 1-year-olds Esti and Wren — with husband John Legend, and the carousel is dominated by three kids plus a hilarious screenshot of Legend just barely making it into Teigen’s Top 5 Artists of the year. (The EGOT winner trailed behind Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish.)
But fans of the too-cute Teigen-Legend family couldn’t help but notice that Miles was nowhere to be seen.
“WHERE IS MILES,” one follower commented, no doubt hoping to see some sweetness from the sports-loving big brother.
Teigen quickly responded and must have made that fan’s day. “[It’s] extremely hard to wrangle a photo out of him,” she said. Garnering dozens of likes, the comment clearly resonated with people. Parents and caregivers know just how hard it is to get an active kiddo to sit still for the camera.
Another fan responded, “We’ll accept video too ????????,” and we have to agree. If Teigen wants to share footage of her adorable middle son on the move, we will tune in!
There were some precious videos of Luna being the best big sister Esti and Wren could ask for, and we have to imagine Miles is equally sweet. In the first clip, Luna is marching in a circle with her curly-haired little brother singing “We Are The Dinosaurs.” The little guy is giggling the whole time. Later, Luna is painting with Esti and is so supportive. She’s not taking over but simply asking if she can help Esti with her paintbrush.
“Luna is such a great big sister. ‘Can I guide your hand?'” one follower commented, mimicking the 8-year-old.
As Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren prepare for the holidays, we know they must be cleaning out their toy room. Last month, Legend revealed that he and his wife have a toy rule for the family.
“We, in fact, require [our kids] to give away some toys whenever we get them new toys,” the “All of Me” singer told Parents. “We try to put that in practice with them so that they understand how blessed they are, but also that they have the opportunity to help other people, and they should use that opportunity.”
Who knows, maybe while Luna and Esti were crafting, Miles was busy deciding which toys he was going to give away ahead of Santa’s arrival.
