Tottenham could make offer for midfielder that Inter Milan cannot refuse
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing a player from Inter Milan, with the Lilywhites said to be ready to make a big offer for the player.

Over recent weeks, a number of outlets have backed Tottenham to sign a midfielder in January, and the latest such update comes from Italy.
InterLive now claim that Ange Postecoglou is keen to upgrade the options on his engine room and has set his sights on an Italy international.
The player in question is Davide Frattesi, who has been struggling to get regular starts under his belt at Inter Milan since his summer move.
Spurs could submit a big offer for Davide Frattesi
The report says that given that the 25-year-old has fallen behind in Simone Inzaghi’s pecking order, Tottenham may see January as the ideal time to pounce.
It is alleged that the Lilywhites could even arrive with a ‘significant offer’ of around €35m (£29.1m) for Frattesi.
The outlet suggests that such an offer would be difficult for the Nerazzurri to turn down as it would represent a ‘capital gain’, with the club having signed the midfielder from Sassuolo for €31m (£25.8m) back in the summer.
Is Frattesi open to a move to Spurs?
Players rarely decide to leave just six months after joining a club, even if they are struggling to get game time.
Interestingly, in this report, InterLive do not say if the midfielder wants to leave Inter but they do say that he has ‘complained’ about his lack of game time at the San Siro.
It is also pointed out that Tottenham would be able to offer the player a higher wage than the €2.8m (£2.3m) per season he earns now, which could potentially help persuade him about the move.
