I’m A Celeb fans accuse ITV of ‘choosing winner already’ as they hit out at ‘campaign’ for star
I’M A Celebrity fans have accused ITV of “choosing the winner already” as they hit out at a “campaign” for a star on the show.
Viewers have noticed that during the I’m A Celebrity ad breaks, there are adverts for Coleen Rooney’s Wagatha documentary.
The star in question is Coleen Rooney[/caption] The Real Wagatha Story is being advertised in the ad breaks[/caption]Disney+ released the news that it would be launching Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story on October 18 of last year.
And promoting the three-parter during the ad breaks, ITV’s ad sees Coleen pictured wearing a striking pink suit and holding her phone.
She sits in front of a background of newspaper headlines.
The documentary was created after Coleen sensationally accused her Wag rival Becky of leaking stories about her in a dramatic social media post.
Now, fans of I’m A Celeb have accused ITV of “choosing the winner” as Coleen, who is currently starring on the show, has a TV show being advertised in between.
On social media, one person wrote: “I feel like there is a campaign to push Colleen to be Queen of the Jungle especially with the documentary commercials about her. Is it a fix for her to win?”
Someone else said: “Oh these Coleen ad breaks must be a ploy to get her to win the show.”
Coleen has been very frank when it comes to discussing her personal life while in the jungle.
On Friday night, Coleen bravely opened up on her miscarriages and shared her story during a conversation with I’m a Celebrity stars Oti Mabuse and GK Barry.
Coleen – who shares sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight and six-year-old Cass with husband Wayne, 39 – said: “I would’ve liked a girl for Wayne, I wasn’t desperate, he would’ve liked a girl. I wasn’t bothered either way.
“I’ve had two miscarriages and I don’t know whether that has been girls, you know sometimes they say you can’t carry a certain sex, but they don’t investigate until you have your third one.”
Coleen confessed that, while suffering the losses was “horrible” for her, it was also really hard on ex-footballer Wayne.
She continued: “I feel for the men in this situation…
Coleen Rooney's surprising bad habit
COLEEN Rooney has revealed the embarrassing habit hubby Wayne reckons will annoy her I’m A celebrity campmates.
She’s usually preened and perfect – but the WAG has confessed she snores.
Coleen said: “I didn’t think I snored, but Wayne says I snore.
“Not continuously though – just every now and again.
“I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it.
“I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am.”
“Wayne really felt it the first time round and it wasn’t until later on that I thought, ‘Do you know what, everyone’s fussing around me, but not him and he had to just get up and go to work as normal’, it’s quite hard.”
Meanwhile, TV star and Sun columnist Jane Moore became the first celebrity to leave the camp on Friday night.
And she took the opportunity to open up about her time in the jungle while chatting to Ant and Dec in her exit interview – hinting that some camp mates are “showmen.”
Jane, who made no secret of the fact that she was disappointed to be in charge of washing up in camp, said: “I had three jobs before then, I worked like a dog and then they gave me the washing up so I wasn’t pleased about that. I did a lot down there but hard work doesn’t pay off as I’m the first one out, people don’t notice hard work.
“The more people get voted off, it will get apparent who isn’t doing that much. I would like to see the quiet hard workers win, there’s a lot of showmen in there. I want Coleen [Rooney] or Melvin [Odoom] to win, they’re not flamboyant.
The honest Loose Women star went on to say on the spin-off show, I’m A Celeb… Unpacked that she was “disappointed” to be out first.
Jane told host Sam Thompson: “I would have liked to have been second or third, I knew I wasn’t going to make it the whole way. But I can’t say that anyone deserved to be out before me. My camp bestie was Danny.
“We discussed at one point that maybe we were all getting on too well because viewers like it when there’s drama, but we couldn’t do it.
“I think you need to ask Melvin if Dean was pulling his weight. There are the show people in the camp, that are providing the entertainment, maybe people that are providing good TV. There are hard workers that allow them to be flamboyant.”
