At Kenan Stadium on Saturday, Omarion Hampton and the North Carolina Tar Heels (6-5) meet Justin Joly and the NC State Wolfpack (5-6) in a battle between two of the biggest stars in college football on offense, beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET.
The Tar Heels head into the matchup after losing 41-21 to the Boston College Eagles in their last outing on Nov. 23. Their last time out, the Wolfpack were beaten by the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 30-29. CJ Bailey’s performance for the Pack against the Yellow Jackets included 17-of-30 passing for 147 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions. He rushed nine times for 83 yards and three touchdowns. Daylan Smothers put together a seven-carry, 79-yard game (11.3 yards per attempt) with one touchdown, while tacking on one reception for eight yards . Jordan Waters caught three passes for 45 yards (15.0 yards per catch).
