'Make Christmas Merry Again': Trump campaign hawks holiday merch
Less than two weeks after being elected president of the United States for a second time, the campaign for President-elect Donald Trump started back up with its fundraising emails — with an early appeal for the holidays.
"Make Christmas Merry Again" reads a banner with an image of holiday lights across a Nov. 21 email selling "MAGA wrapping paper." Buyers can choose between "Trump Classic Christmas" or "Trump Dark MAGA" styles.
A Nov. 18 email reads "Even Santa wants to Make America Great Again!" and sells Santa hats with the "Make America Great Again" slogan on the cuff.
"These hats are something else, and I can’t wait to see you and your entire family wearing them on CHRISTMAS DAY!" reads the email signed by "President Trump AKA Santa Claus." "TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE CHRISTMAS GREAT AGAIN!"
Between Nov. 18 and Nov. 26, the Trump campaign unveiled at least seven different Christmas-themed merchandise items encouraging supporters to donate to the Trump National Committee, a joint fundraising committee of the Never Surrender political action committee and the Republican National Committee.
The latest email directs donors to Winred, a conservative fundraising platform, and allows supporters to claim a shirt with a $45 donation. The page includes pre-set donation buttons up to $1,000.

Other Christmas merchandise includes a golden MAGA baseball cap ornament, mugs, T-shirts and crewneck shirts with cutouts of Trump donning a Santa hat, and a green MAGA baseball in with red writing.

The Trump National Committee raised more than $375.3 million between January and October 16, according to the Federal Election Commission, and spent about $323.1 million in the same time period.
Trump's spokespeople did not immediately respond to Raw Story's request for comment.
