Man charged in road rage shooting in Amherst
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One man is injured and another man is facing charges following a shooting connected to possible road rage in Amherst on Thursday night, according to police.
Police responded to the 900 block of Millersport Highway around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, where a 24-year-old man had been shot in the thigh. He man was transported to ECMC.
Keith Pritchett, 32 and of Buffalo, was arrested a short time later at his home. He is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment. Police believe the shooting was due to road rage.
Pritchett is currently being held pending arraignment.
