Puppy injured in Windham plane crash undergoes surgery
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (NEWS10) -- The 4-month-old puppy hurt in a plane crash in Greene County has completed its surgeries at a Connecticut veterinary hospital. The medical team at Pieper Veterinary in Middletown said the lab mix named Whiskey has a long journey to recovery but is a miracle.
Whiskey was among two other dogs that were in the plane that crashed in Greene County. Pilot Seuk Kim, of Springfield, Va., and one other dog died in the Sunday crash.
The other surviving dog, Pluto, had some bruising but has a foster home already set to take him in.
