I found out my tattoo artist boyfriend was cheating after he gave me a ‘freestyle’ inking – I can’t even get it covered

She explained she had dated an “emo tattooed artist” and decided to get “all tatted up” because she was “sad too”.
Jasmine asked her boyfriend to ink Lilith from the Bible on her fore arm.
The TikToker pointed out since nobody knows what the Biblical figure looks like, they had to take some freedoms with the design.
She told her boyfriend to “freestyle” a woman’s face, explaining that she trusted him.
When he had finished, Jasmine was delighted with the end results of a seemingly fictious woman.
However, months later the tattoo artist broke up with her the day before her sister’s funeral.
To make matters even worse, he revealed that he had been cheating on her during their relationship.
According to Jasmine, the other woman had actually been her boyfriend’s previous girlfriend.
“Me being me, crazy, I go researching, I find her TikTok [and] I see exactly what she looks like and it’s the same exact face on my arm,” she revealed.
She assumed people would call her crazy for making the comparison.
However, when she showed her friends and family an image of the woman and her tattoo side-by-side, they all agreed.
While Jasmine showed her audience the tattoo, she refused to feature an image of the woman to protect her privacy.
She explained she was exploring an legal options she may have in the situation.
“I didn’t know that was his ex’s face, the girl that he was cheating on me with, if I had known that, I would have obviously never gotten the design,” she said.
Tattoo Do's and Don'ts
1. Think, think and think some more
Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you’ve chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it.
2. Age restrictions apply
You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the UK.
3. Don’t haggle over the price
When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry
Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you’re hydrated. You’re about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or you’re dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before you get tattooed
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don’t go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances. I’d also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more.
TikTok users shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments section.
“Nah, that’s a different type of evil to do to someone. I’m so sorry,” wrote one viewer.
“Get a quote on how much the removal will cost and take him to small claims court. If you can, get him to admit to it in writing,” advised another follower.
“That’s so sick of him, I’m sorry you went through that,” commented a third person.
“I’m so sorry!! Get it touched up and have other stuff done to it, to change the look of it!! It’s possible!” suggested another commenter.
