Authorities identify man killed in Northeast Portland shooting Monday
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The man who was killed in a shooting in Northeast Portland earlier this week was identified by authorities.
Portland resident Mark A. Holley was killed on Monday night after a shooting in the Wilkes Neighborhood, Portland police said.
The medical examiner confirmed Holley died of homicide by gunshot wound, Portland Police Bureau said in a release. The victim’s family was notified and released a picture of Holley for the public.
On Monday, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the 15900 block of Northeast Fremont Street at 5:46pm. When they arrived, they found one person — later identified as Holley — dead at the scene.
