'Swamp remains undefeated': Neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes unhappy with Trump's Cabinet pick
President-elect Donald Trump’s selection to lead the Treasury Department didn’t satisfy Neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes, who took to social media to unleash his thoughts on the pick – however unsolicited they were.
Fuentes, a far-right political figure, made the criticisms Friday shortly after Trump tapped hedge fund executive Scott Bessent to head the Treasury Department.
“Donald Trump has just appointed Scott Bessent for Treasury Secretary,” Fuentes told his followers on X. In his post, Fuentes criticized Bessent using homophobic language and blasted him for working for George Soros for a decade and "receiving a $2 billion investment from him for his firm in 2015."
“Swamp remains undefeated,” Fuentes concluded in his post.
The American Jewish Committee called Fuentes a "white supremacist, Holocaust denier who hates Jews."
"He gained notoriety amongst the fringes of society as a freshman at Boston University, when he attended the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where hundreds of torch-bearing far-right demonstrators chanted 'Jews will not replace us," the organization noted.

If confirmed, Bessent would become the first openly gay Treasury chief, according to Bloomberg, which added he would also be one of the wealthiest in modern times.
In making the announcement, Trump called Bessent “one of the World’s foremost International Investors and Geopolitical and Economic Strategists.”
“Scott’s story is that of the American Dream. Scott has long been a strong advocate of the America First Agenda,” Trump wrote in a statement Friday. “As a lifelong Champion of Main Street America and American Industry, Scott will support my Policies that will drive U.S. Competitiveness, and stop unfair Trade imbalances, work to create and Economy that places Growth at the forefront, especially through our coming World Energy Dominance.”
