Man run over in Long Island road rage attack: SCPD
WEST BABYLON, Long Island (PIX11) – A man was run over and his car repeatedly struck in a road rage incident in West Babylon, police said.
In a fit of road rage, two men drove their cars to a parking lot around 8:10 p.m. Saturday near Route 109 and Edel Avenue, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
They both got out of their cars and started arguing, police said. The fight escalated when one man got back in his car, repeatedly hit the other man’s car, then ran over the other 51-year-old driver, police said.
The 51-year-old driver was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries, but the other driver ran off, police said.
Police have not made any arrests Sunday.
