Phillies postseason FAQ: Schedule, ticket information and more
When will the Phillies begin postseason play?
Game 1 of the National League Division Series is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 at Citizens Bank Park. Opponent and game times are still TBD. Here is the NLDS schedule:
- Game 2: Sunday, Oct. 6 at Citizens Bank Park
- Game 3: Tuesday, Oct. 8 at American Family Field, Citi Field or Chase Field
- Game 4 (if necessary): Wednesday, Oct. 9 at American Family Field, Citi Field or Chase Field

Who will the Phillies face in the NLDS?
The Phillies will play the winner of the No. 3 vs. No. 6 seed Wild Card series. The Brewers are the No. 3 seed and will host all three games of the best-of-three series starting Tuesday. They will oppose either the Mets or Diamondbacks.
If the Mets win one of the two games against the Braves in Monday’s doubleheader, they will advance to play the Brewers. If the Braves sweep the doubleheader and eliminate the Mets, the D-Backs will get the No. 6 seed and play Milwaukee in the wild card round.
Where can I watch Phillies playoff games?

What are the Phillies doing in the days leading up to the Division Series?
The Phillies are off Monday and will get to work preparing for the postseason on Tuesday with a workout at Citizens Bank Park. Dave Dombrowski is also scheduled to hold a press conference prior to the workout.
The ballpark will be closed to the media on Wednesday and Thursday. The team will play an intrasquad game Wednesday and hold an optional workout on Thursday. Friday will be the official workout day before the start of the NLDS.
How can I get tickets to Phillies home playoff games?
Good luck. You can still register for a chance to purchase tickets via the lottery at Phillies.com/postseason. The registration period for the NLDS has already passed. Fans that won the drawing, which is scheduled to take place on Sept. 30, are expected to be notified via e-mail on Oct. 4.
Here are the important lottery dates for the NLCS and World Series. Fans only need to register one time to be eligible for all rounds:
- NLCS: Registration ends Oct. 5; Lottery around Oct. 7; Winners are notified by Oct. 12
- World Series: Registration ends Oct. 12; Lottery around Oct. 17; Winners are notified by Oct. 24
Quantities are extremely limited as most postseason tickets were purchased by the more than 20,000 Phillies full or partial season tickets holders. If you can’t get tickets via the lottery, purchase them from a reputable secondary market site such as SeatGeek, StubHub or GameTime. Beware of scams.
If you want to see the Phillies play in the postseason on the road, check the opponent’s website for tickets as soon as the wild card series between the Brewers and either the Mets or D-Backs is over.
