Danny Cipriani ‘splits from wife of three years after she saw messages on his phone’
RUGBY ace Danny Dipriani has “split from his wife” after three years together.
Danny, who tied the knot with wife Victoria Rose in an intimate ceremony on April 2021, has reportedly split from his partner after she saw “messages on his phone”.
The Mail Online revealed that the pair separated two weeks ago.
A source revealed to the publication that up until the summer, all had been well in the marriage.
But added: “Victoria had been increasingly unhappy over the last few months.
“Things got tense and then she saw some text messages on his phone and it led to some difficult rows between them and they have now split up.
“They are both devastated at the breakdown of their marriage.”
The former England rugby ace is said to have moved of their shared Kent home and is staying at another property.
Danny has since taken to social media to confirm that his marriage is over.
He wrote: “Victoria and I sat together this weekend and agreed to separate after 4 years of marriage.
“Whilst we’ve had some wonderful times together, we’ve also recognised we’re on different journey’s and whilst this is sad news, it’s also a new chapter for us both to purse our own happiness.
“I only wish the best for Victoria and her children.”
The pair hinted that their marriage was in trouble when they recently unfollowed each other on social media.
Danny has also failed to share photos of his wife on his grid or stories in the last few months.
While health care campaigner Victoria, 42, appeared to have removed her wedding ring.
Danny and Victoria married in 2021.
At the time Victoria posted on Instagram: “Today we officially became Mr & Mrs Cipriani in a small intimate setting with our nearest and dearest.
“We are looking forward to our big day Caribbean style when travel is permitted.
“Cheers to love, laughter, but especially to our happily ever after. Our adventure begins. Dannie Cipriani I love you.”
Danny himself wrote: “Officially Mrs Cipriani @victoriarosecipriani – married my best friend today!!”
The pair got engaged after just four months of dating in August 2020.
