AN expert car valet with over a decade of experience says he was horrified by the filthiest motor he’s ever seen as it was covered in mud and even needles.
Photos posted by Craig on social media show the footwell of the vehicle caked in mud and hay.
Most concerningly, there were even used syringes and needles as well as a hair clipper blade littered around the interior.
Thankfully, it does not appear that these were for recreational drug consumption, with empty bottles found on the floor being labelled as veterinary medication.
One vial contained a vaccination for avian tuberculosis, which can be spread from birds to livestock.
It appears that the van was used by a farmer over an extended period of time.
Craig told Wales Online: “They told me that the car was pretty dirty. Obviously, it had been used as a work vehicle for some time.
“But I’d say that this one was probably one of the worst of them.”
He explained that he had to almost completely strip out the interior of the car and throw out all the rubbish before wet vacuuming the seats and carpets.
That, combined with a healthy helping of “elbow grease” helped him to completely transform the condition of the van.
Nonetheless, it still took Craig seven and a half hours compared to the two hours a normal clean would eat up.
He added: “I was very tired after, I didn’t stop for food or anything – it was seven hours non-stop. I just wanted to go home and have a beer, to be honest.
“I do a lot of high-end supercars like Lamborghini and so on, which get a lot of attention.
“But over the 11 years, nothing gets more attention than transforming an old filthy banger.
“Even people who aren’t interested in cars, they’ll take an interest in this sort of transformation.”
