Mystery as Megan Barton Hanson secretly quits Love Island Games & disappears from show – hours after being pied by Eyal

LOVE Island favourite Megan Barton Hanson shocked fans last night after she disappeared from the Games spin-off of the show.

The reality star, 29, has been enjoying a blossoming romance with Kyra Green during her time on the global dating series.

But on Sunday’s episode, Megan was noticeably absent which prompted narrator Iain Stirling to reveal that she had left for “medical reasons”.

Love Island bosses did not reveal exactly why she had departed but Megan’s love interest Kyra admitted that Megan’s sickness had put a strain on their connection.

She said: “I’m okay. It’s mean definitely upsetting… just obviously on different pages and I haven’t been really able to get on the same page because she’s been sick and out of here.”

It comes just hours after she pied her former flame Eyal Booker, who both appeared on series four of the UK show.

In September TV star Megan opened up about her painful Pelvic Inflammatory Disease for the first time.

On an Instagram story she said: “Which one of my queens have ever suffered from pelvic inflammatory disease?

“I’ve never heard of it but think i may have had my first experience, I’ve not had pain or fever quite like it.

“The last 5 days have been hell.”

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease is an infection that affects a woman’s reproductive organs, like the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. It can lead to pain in the lower belly, fever, and other discomfort.

Meanwhile Kyra, who lives in Los Angeles, who was a new arrival to the villa, had her sights set on Megan from the day she arrived.

She asked Megan, who was having a one-to-one conversation with Callum Hole, if she could “steal her for a chat”.

The two women then went on to speak openly with each other about their sexuality and the people they’d dated in the past.

The 26-year-old musician delivered an adorable coupling-up speech to Megan.

Reflecting on the speech on the balcony, Megan told Kyra: “You know when you were saying your speech, I was thinking it was so cute and it better be me.”

“We were vibing for sure and I didn’t know if all the flirting and s**t was there you know. But I’m happy that you were happy about it because I was f**king nervous,” Kyra grinned.

The pair then leaned in for a kiss.

Megan rose to fame after appearing on Love Island. Coupled up with fellow Love Island contestant Wes Nelson, the pair made it to fourth place on the show.

Following the show, they decided to part ways in their relationship.

Megan also disclosed that she’s Bisexual and, more recently, opened up about being in a throuple with a “hot girl” and her boyfriend.
